Which of these 2 HP laptops would you recommend me buy?

Hello. Thanks again for your work.

I could not decide on a choice between the two PCs. HP Pavilion Aero Laptop 13-be0000np and HP Pavilion Aero Laptop 13-be1000np.

I want to know which is better, in which and the price difference between them is justified.

Thank you so much.

Louis,

Of course, the models are very similar, but one after the other has been released, so the latest (13-be1000np) has a slight improvement: it brings the AMD Raizen 7 5825U CPU instead of the AMD Raizen 7 5800U. The 5825U has a base clock speed of 2.0GHz (vs. 1.9GHz) and apparently a CPU, which heats up a bit less than before, although the architecture and all the architectural details are the same (I can only say that this is dubious information. Testing can confirm).

There is another difference between the models, which is the Windows version: the older one has Windows 10 Home, the latest one already has Windows 11 Home… but it is free to upgrade from 10 to 11. There are places that indicate a little more autonomy for the latest model, but I could not confirm this information from the manufacturer or from the battery capacity, so this may also be incorrect information.

In short, although I do not know the price difference from where you saw it, I will not give more than 30 to the recent ones considering what the difference between the models is.

Which SSD do you recommend for me to buy for PS5?

Hello,

Good night

I want to ask you a question,

I bought a PlayStation 5 console and in the future I want to upgrade the internal SSD storage and I want to know what you are advising me?

Because I'm investigating and SSD must have many specifications specified by Sony. Some SSDs have their own heat sink, but I do not know if it's necessary to have them, so I'm asking you this question.

I must have only an SSD capable of equal to or greater than 2TB.

Thank you so much for your attention,

I hope you can help me with this question

Yours sincerely,

Samuel Machado

Samuel,

Sony is really clear on this SSD expansion drive condition. Everything is explained on the pt-pt page, not only in terms of specifications but also in terms of assembly:

Basically you need to drive with different sizes (lengths), especially the M.2 socket with 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 possible. It must have NVMe technology and be PCIe Gen4x4. The already included heatsync is recommended because non-heatsync models usually have a sticker on the chips, so the dispersion is not as effective.

I do not recommend any particular model or brand, but models like the WD_BLACK SN850, Samsung 980 PRO or the flagship P5 Plus are also great choices.

Can I buy a PC without an operating system?

Best wishes to everyone and congratulations to the Pplware team for their good work and dedication.

I am asking for help on the following question:

It is common and frequent to find computers for sale that already have the Microsoft operating system Windows 10 or Windows 11 installed.

Since these operating systems are paid, I ask if buyers have the right to ask stores to sell only part of the hardware and do not charge any amount for the operating system.

If they have this right, I ask how to keep the store running.

If they do not, and they have to buy a computer with Windows, I'm asking if buyers can void the warranty by erasing the disk and installing something else there (for example, free DOS, NAS server, ESXi hypervisor, a Linux distribution, Windows XP, 7 or 8, Etc.)

Thank you.

Best wishes,

Nuno Duarte

Nuno,

At one point, about 10 years ago, there were some successful cases of getting a refund of OEM license fee based on Microsoft's non-compliance with EULA terms. However, there are changes in this aspect (in favor of Microsoft) and this is no longer legally possible.

To change your computer's operating system, yes, you can do so without compromising the warranty. This is software, and in any case, if disk space is not really an issue, my recommendation is that you keep the recovery partition and boot partitions intact, not exactly to protect the guarantee, but to protect it from the possibility of wanting to use it. It can be difficult to install all the drivers and everything properly because Windows comes from the manufacturer again and again.

Keep in mind that this computer may be useful to someone else or you may even decide to sell it.

Can I count on more updates on the Huawei P10 Lite?

Hello Pplware,

How can I get Huawei P10 Lite update support?

Matthias Torres

Reply:

Mates,

Unfortunately, this Huawei smartphone has already received all the official updates offered by the brand. Keep in mind that this smartphone is already a few years old and has already been discontinued by the brand.

Therefore, there is no support for updates on your Huawei P10 Lite. You may need to use the current version of EMIU in the future.

What's wrong with my WiFi card? And how can I fix it?

WiFi network disappears, ... as if there was no WiFi card, ... it says it could not find the problem in network troubleshooting.

Resetting the Resolution Network, ... Restarting my PC does not change anything, ... What can I do ??

Thank you

Nuno,

There are probably two sources for the problem you may have on your PC. One of them is very complicated to solve and the other is a bit simpler.

Here's the question you need to confirm with those who run the network. Are you trying to figure out that this network is not only advertised at 5Ghz and that the card is limited to 2.4Ghz?

Most likely, there is a problem with the WiFi card driver, which causes the card to not work properly.

We recommend that you check the chipset on the card and look for the right drivers. You can also access the manufacturer's website and try to find the drivers you need there.
